The TPHtour stopped in Tampa to stay with friends. We recap the most recent leg of the journey.

Special Guest Dan Gambino (and Bear) joins us as we record live from his garage in Tampa, FL.

The Perfect House is an independent horror film that chose to reject mainstream distribution and instead become the first movie ever to premiere on facebook.

In the Summer of 2011, 3 members of Gratwick Films planned a cross country tour to promote the films October 1, 2011 release. The goal was to procure sponsors for a tour bus that would take us around the country hosting free screenings everywhere we went.  But as the summer wore on, time ran out on how elaborate of a tour we could execute.

The confessions and video footage from the tour are included in a Youtube documentary following the tour to promote the first film to premiere on facebook. The documentary will be available in the fall of 2013.

It’s tough times for Gratwick and company. We are less than a few week away from our drop dead date to pull off a cross country tour.  We are still looking for sponsorship partners and investors for our publicity and marketing campaign. Andrea guest hosts this week and coincidentally our first live streamed Gratcast.

From Paris With Love is very bad movie and a perfect example of the Hollywood machine mailing it in. Cheesiest green screen work ever. Complete copy of Training Day. I couldn’t see Travolta in a men’s sauna until I watched this movie.

Andreas week. Business plans, proposals for the TPHtour.  Andrea has been working on putting foreign distribution packages together. We are cutting the mini tour footage into a sizzle real for a reality show. We are trying to setup a show in San Diego and hoping to start the big tour in June. We have some crazy ideas and contests for the tour.  Kris went to the Hollywood Park for the Kentucky Derby.

Hollywood corner. Pressures of post production compared to pre production. What is the most important thing Kris and Andrea have learned so far. Having the knowledge to match my instincts. The blurry lines between friends and business partners.

Record in Denver at our first stop on the six city mini tour. We took a break from the excitement of our very first convention, the Denver Starfest, to relax in our hotel room and recap the high of the past few days. From the fans we met, the characters in costume to the warm reception from our first foreign audience, it has been an unbelievable weekend.
