Busy day of production has Gratcast, Tech Talk and The Weekly Round Up all being shot on the same day. The old white macbook can’t keep up with all the action. Anthony’s monochromatic wardrobe is the only thing he has in common with Batman. Kris continues to teach himself web design as he builds 8secondworld.

Best Gratcast ever? Kris and Anthony bring their A game this week! Anthony did some facebooking with Roger Ebert while Kris learns that only Siskel is gone. The past week, while completely redesigning the Gratwick Films website (Again) Kris taught himself how to write html code.

Things have changed drastically over the last few months some by choice, some forced on us by selfish, short sighted individuals who put themselves ahead of the team they joined. When we started Gratwick Films it was based on a family first commitment to each other, the greater good always came before the individual desire. Unfortunately one of our own made choices that left us no choice but to move on without them.

The Perfect House is an independent horror film that chose to reject mainstream distribution and instead become the first movie ever to premiere on facebook.
In the Summer of 2011, 3 members of Gratwick Films planned a cross country tour to promote the films October 1, 2011 release. The goal was to procure sponsors for a tour bus that would take us around the country hosting free screenings everywhere we went. But as the summer wore on, time ran out on how elaborate of a tour we could execute.
The confessions and video footage from the tour are included in a Youtube documentary following the tour to promote the first film to premiere on facebook. The documentary will be available in the fall of 2013.

It’s tough times for Gratwick and company. We are less than a few week away from our drop dead date to pull off a cross country tour. We are still looking for sponsorship partners and investors for our publicity and marketing campaign. Will watched Green Lantern. Kris has beefs with 1.) The Omen 2.) Kevin Smith and 3.) Rutgers University (yes that wound is still healing). Kris also runs the numbers on The Perfect House Tour’s ad plan. And we started watching Oz too! And Blood Wrestling from GratFest 1 is on YouTube!
